4mm Tempered Glass 886*730mm Quality Inspection Picture

Our company conducts quality inspection on tempered glass with a thickness of 4mm and a size of 886*730mm. According to the standard, the inspection items are as follows:

1. Size

For common tempered glass, the allowable tolerances of the side length (L) and diagonal of the rectangle are shown in the table below:

The detection method : use a steel tape with a minimum scale of 1mm to measure, and compare the measured value with the above table after the measurement is completed.

2. Thickness
The allowable deviation of tempered glass thickness is shown in the table below

3. Fragment status and quantity detection

After the tempered glass is broken, it presents broken small obtuse particles. The number of particles in any 50mm×50mm area must meet the requirements in the table below, and a small amount of long fragments are allowed, the length of which should not exceed 75mm.

Note: The more and smaller the particles after the tempered glass is broken, the higher the strength of the tempered glass. However, considering the factor of self-explosion, the stress intensity should be reduced as much as possible, but the specified quantity standard must be met.
